LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- The Arkansas Department of Health says a fourth person in Arkansas has died from the West Nile virus.

This brings the total amount of cases in Arkansas to 37 with four deaths.

West Nile Virus (WNV) is a disease spread by mosquitos. The condition ranges from mild to severe. Although many people are bitten by mosquitos that carry WNV, most do not know they've been exposed. Few people develop severe disease or even notice any symptoms at all.
