LONOKE COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) -- A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in Lonoke County.
An Arkansas State Police report says that Kimberly Perkins, 39, of Lonoke was standing on the South shoulder of Highway 70 near Cypress Creek Road attempting to flag down passing motorist Friday night.
That was when she was struck by an unknown vehicle traveling east on Highway 70 that failed to stop after striking Perkins. Perkins was pronounced dead by the coroner at 10:48 p.m.
