PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) -- One person is dead and several others injured following a one-car accident.

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office says it happened this morning at Kanis Road and Striper Lane. Timothy Hester, 50, died at the scene. Four other people in the 2005 yellow Ford Mustang convertible suffered injuries in the wreck. Investigators says it appears the driver, 48-year-old Anthony Chambers, lost control crashing into a power pole.

According to the accident report, Chambers admitted he had been drinking.

No charges have been filed at this time.
