TRUMANN, Ark. (AP) - Authorities in northeast Arkansas are investigating a double homicide after they say a man and a woman were found shot to death inside a mobile home.
Trumann Police Lt. Lenny Becker says no arrests had been made by Monday morning in the deaths of Constance Cole and a man whose name hasn't been released yet.
Becker says the killings weren't random, though police haven't named a suspect.
Police say neighbors reported hearing gunshots early Sunday morning, but dismissed it as noise from dove hunters. Police were called to the home after someone conducted a welfare check and found the bodies.
Becker says Cole was staying with the man at the trailer, but their relationship wasn't clear. Becker says they were both in their 50s.
