CONWAY, Ark. (AP) - Little Rock-based Acxiom Corp. has pledged $150,000 to supplement instructors' salaries at the University of Central Arkansas College of Business.
The Log Cabin Democrat reports (http://is.gd/hBejUr) that five faculty members in the Department of Management Information Systems will receive up to $37,500 per year for four years with the gift.
The college's interim dean, Mike Casey, says the five teachers work closely with Acxiom to provide camps for students, update the program's curriculum and on joint research projects.
UCA President Tom Courtway says the college is the "No. 1 supplier" of talent for Acxiom.
