LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- It may seem like the November elections are still far away - but there's a lot to do before then.
In fact, some issues are still having to fight for their place on the ballot.
For example, right now The Arkansas Supreme Court is hearing arguments in a lawsuit challenging the state's rejection of petitions for a Texas businessman's bid to operate casinos in the state.
Michael Wasserman argues that the state should have given him more time to gather additional signatures for his casino amendment.
And then there's the medical marijuana issue.
