JACKSONVILLE Ark.; (KTHV)--A big production in Jacksonville this weekend, it's the Air Show at the Little Rock Air Force Base. Hundreds of thousands of people coming out to see the show, it only happens once every two years. This year the blue angels put on a show and wowed the crowd.

It's not every day you get to see the Blue Angels take to the skies and demonstrate some intense routines. Saturday afternoon the Airmen showed their talent to a sea of people. "We're so excited to show the state of Arkansas just what we do here." Lt. Melanie Glass says the show started at ten Saturday morning, with the Canadian sky hawks and army black daggers.

Twelve-year-old Kryan Moore gives the Blue Angels his seal of approval.  "They're fast, they're loud and they're fun to be around." It's his first time to see the Navy pilots. Moore enjoyed the day watching the sky with his family. "We're getting out and doing things, other than just sitting at home, we get to see other people and socialize with the community, it's pretty good." The Moores had plenty of people to socialize with.   The attraction is a huge draw to the Air force Base since Lt. Glass says Arkansans only see the Blue Angels every four years.  "Over the two day weekend we expect around 250,000 people to come out, today on Saturday we estimate around 150,000 are out here."

With that many people out there, traffic is sure to be delayed. If you want to head out to the show tomorrow head, leave about an hour to an hour and a half early.  Good news; parking and admission are free!
