TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Prosecutors have filed first-degree murder charges against a teenager accused in a double killing outside of a Tulsa convenience store.
Charges were filed Tuesday against 19-year-old Jermaine Jackson in the deaths of 37-year-old John White and 18-year-old Kristjan Thorsson.
The Tulsa World reports (http://is.gd/RICnJl) that witnesses told police that three men got into an argument Saturday in the parking lot of a QuikTrip convenience store. Police say a man fired several shots into the car in which Thorsson and White were sitting.
Thorsson, who was a student at Jenks High School, died later that morning. White died Monday.
Authorities say U.S. Marshals arrested Jackson on Tuesday in Marianna, Ark. Jackson is being held in the Pulaski County jail in Little Rock. Authorities did not know if he had an attorney.
