UNDATED (CBS) -- An Italian gossip magazine has published more topless photos of Prince William's wife, Kate. The royal couple is on an official trip overseas, while their lawyers battle in court to stop the scandal.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge seemed relaxed as they arrived in the South Pacific paradise of the Solomon Islands. Cameras clicked as a group of topless dancers greeted Prince William and Kate with necklaces. Bare bodies are a part of life on the island.
Back in Europe, lawyers for the royal couple went to court over topless photos of Kate. Lawyers slapped a criminal complaint against the photographer and the French magazine that exposed intimate shots of Will and Kate while the couple vacationed at a private villa in the south of France earlier this month.
But the legal action didn't stop an Italian gossip magazine from publishing a 26 page spread of more secret photos.
The British press has shied away from photos, choosing not to publish Will and Kate's private moments. But a tabloid in neighboring Ireland did run the pictures. Some think the royal couple should speak out about the scandal. Publicist Max Clifford says, "I would love to see them go on television and say, 'Look, this has really hurt us and I don't think we deserve it so please respect that.'"
Prince William and Kate are said to be furious about the photos, but are keeping their composure on their overseas tour. The editor of the Italian magazine says he doesn't fear legal action because the pictures are already in the public domain.
