Little Rock police investigating homicide at 16th and Bishop

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Little Rock police are investigating a homicide at 16th and Bishop streets.

Sgt. Cassandra Davis with LRPD says two men where on the side of the road this evening when a male suspect approached them.  She says there was an exchange of words and the suspect began firing.

According to Sgt. Davis, one of the men was grazed by a bullet, while the other was shot at least three times and taken to UAMS where he was pronounced dead.

Sgt. Davis says police are speaking with the man who was grazed, and trying to determine if the men knew each other and what the motive was behind the homicide.

No names have been released at this time.
