If you aren't able to help out on Make A Difference Day on Oct. 27, you can still make a difference with a simple donation. The schools and Boys and Girls Club can use some items that you likely have around the house or are ready to get rid of.
They include:
- Board games
- Sports equipment (basketball, soccer ball, football, volleyball)
- Computer accessories
- Picnic tables
- Arts and crafts items
- Books
- Bean bag chairs
- Wall hangings/art work
- Storage shelves or cabinets
- Large trash cans - for indoor or outdoor use
Any items (tools, shovels, levelers, ladders, paint brushes, paint pans, etc) that can be used throughout the day would also be very much appreciated.
