MAYFLOWER, Ark. (KTHV) - According to officials, the boil water order has been lifted for the entire city of Mayflower.
Officials issued the boil order Monday after a main water line blew out, which resulted in the loss of water for the entire city. The leak did not cause any damage.
The boil order was expected to last through Thursday, but about 4:15 p.m. Wednesday the mayor's office said the water is now safe to drink.
