PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KTHV) - A woman charged with murder in the death of her coworker pleaded not guilty Wednesday morning and is scheduled to go on trial next year.
Lillie Foots Wilson, 49, is charged with shooting her co-worker Latange Long, 34, to death at their place of employment in July. The two worked at Central Moloney Inc. in Pine Bluff. No one else was injured in the shooting.
In court Wednesday morning, Prosecutor Kyle Hunter said Foots Wilson will go to trial March 12-15, 2013. The court entered a not guilty plea for her and appointed her a public defender. The judge presiding over the trial will be Jodi Dennis.
The prosecutor's office could seek the death penalty, but Hunter said that decision has not been made.
