PINE BLUFF, Ark. (KTHV) - One of two victims in a Pine Bluff hit and run has died.
Pine Bluff police say around 1 a.m. Monday morning, Jonathan Haney, 20 died from his injuries. Police say he and Erick Green, 19, were walking on W. 6th Avenue near Young Street when a black SUV struck both of them. Green received minor injuries.
Police said in a press release Monday morning, "We need anyone that knows a person who was operating a black SUV on Friday Night in Pine Bluff to contact us if that black SUV now has damage or parts missing from it which were not noticed prior to Friday night. We need the driver to come forward immediately."
Anyone with information should call the Pine Bluff Police Detective Division at (870)730-2090. All calls will be kept confidential and a cash reward of up to $1,000 cash is available for information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect(s).
