CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) - The Conway Area Chamber of Commerce will kick off a campaign to inform area residents about the local impact college athletics has on their quality of life.
Today at 10:30 a.m., Athletic Directors from Conway's three colleges and universities as well as local economic development professionals will be on hand to announce key dates, events, opportunities and discuss the impact of college sports on our community.
College athletics has a far reaching impact on Conway and the surrounding area in a number of ways not obvious to most residents. The entertainment, health, recreational and economic impacts of college athletics offer Conway and central Arkansas a unique opportunity.
The Chamber's "I'm a Fan" campaign seeks to keep residents informed about the positive aspects of local college athletics and how they can take full advantage.
