UNDATED (CNN) - In theaters this weekend, Ben Affleck stars in the dramatic thriller "Argo," based on true events during the Iranian hostage crisis.
"Argo" is based on true events during the late 70s. Ben Affleck stars in and directs the film, which chronicles a covert CIA operation to free six Americans in hiding. The plot includes a fake movie with a very real goal to get the Americans out of Iran... Alive.
"Argo" is rated R.
