LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Dogs are diving into the water this weekend for a good cause. Doggie Paddle Day is taking place Sunday afternoon.
Owners can bring their dogs to Jim Dailey Fitness Center at War Memorial Stadium to help benefit the Little Rock Animal Village. Admission is $10 per dog, or $15 for two dogs. All proceeds will go to LRAV to help animals there find homes.
There are rules for the event, which include:
• Dogs must be spayed or neutered.
• Only friendly dogs that play well with others should attend.
• Two dogs per human, please.
• Bring your dog's rabies tag.
• No city-defined "dangerous" breeds will be admitted.
The event runs from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. and the pool is located at 300 S. Monroe St. in Little Rock. For more information on Doggie Paddle Day, visit the Friends of the Animal Village website.
