LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- It's all about bringing missing children home. And that's why the Justice Department is awarding its 2012 Missing Children's Non-Profit Organization Award to -- the Morgan Nick Foundation.
THV spoke with Morgan's Mother, Colleen today. Morgan was kidnapped in 1995 while playing with friends in Alma, Arkansas. Colleen says detectives continue to work on her daughter's case.
"We do get substantial leads and we get leads every week. So I think for our family knowing that we have full-time people assigned to Morgan's case -- 17 years down the road, that's very important to us because a lot of times that does not happen when a child is missing. We feel confident in our investigative team that they are going to solve this case."
The Morgan Nick Foundation partners with law enforcement and other organizations to make a difference for children and families.
