LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) Folks made their way to Wildwood Park in Little Rock this morning. Today, was the 13th annual Paws on the Pavement, hosted by Wildwood Park and the Central Arkansas Rescue Effort. You may know them as CARE.
There was a photo booth, dog costume contest, a 5k race and a 1-mile walk you could do with your dog. Rachael Montunnas says today's event was just the beginning. It kicked off the Harvest Festival, which continues tomorrow.
"We have blue grass and Americana bands, all day, tons of foods, brats, fruits, sweet potatoes, hayrides going all day, there are scarecrows all over the park. It's going to be a lot of fun and it's definitely a great way for families to spend the day together,: says Montunnas.
The Harvest Festival starts at noon and lasts until 6 pm.
