LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Oct. 19, 2012) - Pinnacle Mountain State Park will host their first ever 'Paws on Pinnacle' this Saturday, October 20.
It's an entire day dedicated to dogs, focusing on education, activities, information about your pet, adoptions and plenty of fun.
All events will take place at the West Summit picnic area:
- 8 a.m. - Base trail hike with your dog
- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Pulaski County Humane Society Adoption Mobile on site
- 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Dog and owner photos
- 11 a.m. - Dr. LaVergne on canine care
- Noon - Justine Baker on canine active gear
- 1 p.m. - Blue Sky Dogs agility and herding demonstrations
- 3 p.m. - Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest
Early registration for the "Howl-O-Ween" costume contest is encouraged. Just call the park at 501-868-5806.
