LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Little Rock police have a man in custody for the attempted robbery of a local convenience store.
Police arrested Larry Ishmon, 21, and charged him with criminal attempt to commit capital murder, first degree battery, and aggravated robbery.
Tuesday morning just after 1 a.m., a suspect entered the EZ Mart at 11724 Rainwood and pretended to be a customer. After the clerk helped the suspect, the suspect shot the clerk in the face.
The suspect then shot the clerk in the back as the clerk made an escape.
The suspect then walked around to the back of the counter and tried to open the cash register. When he couldn't open the register, he fled the store.
