Storms across the state leave several without power.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Entergy Arkansas, Inc. is reporting 844 customers are still without power in the state following severe weather late Wednesday night.
The outages came after a line of strong storms and severe weather threats swept through Arkansas. Tornado warnings were issued for parts of Central Arkansas and a tornado watch was issued through 2:00 a.m.
As of 9:15 p.m., Entergy showed 5,228 customers in the dark. The hardest-hit areas include Monroe County, Union County, and Drew County. That number had dropped to 2,663 by 11:15 p.m.
As of 7:15 a.m. the number is down to 844.
Entergy does have crews in all of the areas working to restore power.
