UNDATED, (KTHV)-- Every Friday, 'Today's THV This Morning' works to make your life easier by getting you ready for the weekend with five fun things for the family!
#1. Boo at the Zoo -- Don't miss the state's largest Halloween festival, it kicks off Friday at 6:00 p.m. The perfect event for the entire family to enjoy safe, spooky fun. Famous for its safe environment trick-or-treating, Boo includes a hay maze, carnival rides, fair food and other concessions and treat stations. Don't forget to wear your favorite holiday attire!
#2. Race for the Cure -- Thousands of people will pour the streets of Little Rock Saturday for The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. The event raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivors. Day of tickets are $35. There are also kids activites.
#3. Magic Screams -- Enjoy the spook-tacular fun in Hot Springs! The Halloween Festival at Magic Springs is loaded with fun and fright. There will be haunted houses, special entertainment and contests such as the "King and Queen of Scream" and "The Great Mummy Wrap." This event is the wrap up of the 2012 amusement park season.
#4. World Cheese Dip Championship -- Want a chance to sample world champion cheese dip? You'll get your chance this Saturday at the Clinton Center and sample dozens of recipes. Then, vote for your favorite! Proceeds benefit Harmony Health Clinic - the only private, secular free medical and dental clinic in Central Arkansas.
#5. Zombie Walk-- Get your scare on this Satuday in downtown Clinton. Organizers got the idea from Conway's zombie walk.
Admission is FREE with donation of pet foods and/or supplies for the Van Buren County Animal Shelter. Zombies can meet at the stage in downtown Clinton just off Hwy 65B around 5:30 to mingle and visit with the fellow zombies and curiosity seekers.
