William Null, Taylor Arnold, Joyce Renee Rollf, and John Posey in custody in Pulaski Co. buried body case

PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - The case of a body found buried in the Cabot area continues to develop. Pulaski County Sheriff's officers said a fourth person was arrested in the case Friday night.

The homicide investigation started Thursday, when officers located a body that was buried at a home at 10306 Centennial Road in northern Pulaski County. Though waiting on official autopsy results from the state, officers have identified the deceased as 46-year-old James Heath. Heath's family reported him missing on Sept. 20. His van was found in Jacksonville ten days later.

Arnold Taylor, 20, was the first person to be arrested on Thursday. A PCSO police report states that Taylor admitted to being present at the Centennial Road home when Heath was murdered. Taylor said he helped several other people wrap the body in sheets and place the body in a shallow grave in the backyard.

"Since he was involved, he had a pretty good idea where the body was, he was able to show them rather quickly where the body was buried," PSCO Lt. Carl Minden said.

Lt. Minden says Arnold told them what happened after they tracked him down Thursday. He took them to a mobile home near Jacksonville, where they recovered the body.

Officers then began searching for other people of interest in this case: Joyce Renee Rolff, William Null, and John Posey. On Friday afternoon, officers located the vehicle those people were suspected to be in. Rolff and Null were in the vehicle and taken into custody. Rolff was transported from the scene of the traffic stop to a Little Rock hospital for medical treatment as a result of slitting her wrists.

Posey was arrested separately on Friday night.

A police report explains the individuals' roles in the case. According to the report, Posey said Rolff beat Heath to death with a baseball bat and a cane. Posey then helped carry the body to a pre-dug shallow grave and helped dispose of evidence in the case by placing it in a burn pile. Taylor and Null also admitted to helping bury the body.

Posey, Taylor, and Null are each arrested and charged with first degree murder, tampering with physical evidence, and abuse of a corpse.

Rollf, who lived at the home where Heath's body was found, remains under guard at an area hospital until officers can formally charge her in the homicide.

The sheriff's office has notified Heath's family about his death. When THV reached out to the family on Friday, they told us that Heath's mother was preparing for his funeral.
