LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - It's one day until the official Election Day, and lines at the polls are already long.
According to the Ark. Secretary of State, on Monday alone, 28,919 Arkansans cast their ballots early. Altogether, 435,159 Arkansans voted early this election, which is about a 16 percent increase from the 375,669 early voters in 2008.
The only early polling location in Pulaski County was on the corner of Markham and Broadway downtown. Throughout periods of Monday, the line to vote was wrapped around the building. Many people waited more than 45 minutes to vote, and many were surprised at such a long wait on the day before election.
Polls will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, and you must vote in the precinct where you are registered.
