HACKETT, Ark. (KTHV) - A husband and wife are behind bars after police connected them to a string of odd burglaries.

According to Fort Smith police, 35-year-old Jeff Mattox and his wife, 33-year-old Stacy Mattox were arrested after they were found to allegedly rob homes while the victims were attending funerals.

Both are facing residential burglary charges, felony theft by receiving, felon in possession of arms, and parole violation.
