Galliano, LA. - The Gulfs' oil platform explosion left workers wounded and hospitalized. This explosion is not only affecting the people and companies who work within the oil industry but the community as well.
Over half of the workers hurt were either employees or subcontractors with the Grand Isle Shipyard Company. The community is speaking out saying it was avoidable if the proper steps would have been made by GIS.
