FORT SMITH, Ark. (KTHV) - A Fort Smith man is sentenced to 30 years for production of child pornography and downloading child pornography from the Internet.

The Fort Smith Police Department was first made aware of Judson Morrow, 45, when an acquaintance told the department that he saw a child porn image on Morrow's computer.

A forensic examination of Morrow's computer showed he was using a peer-to-peer program to download child porn images from the Internet. The search also showed that Morrow used his computer to produce child porn images of two minor girls while they were in his apartment in Fort Smith.

Morrow was originally charged with a 15 count indictment on April 10, 2012. He pled guilty to three counts on June 21, 2012. In total, Morrow gets 30 years, 10 years supervised release, and $300 special assessment.

United States Attorney Eldridge commented, "This office will remain vigilant in its prosecution of crimes against children. This case is an example of the fact that when individuals break laws that victimize children, they will be caught and they will be brought to justice."
