LONOKE COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - Authorities say a woman was rescued from her vehicle after she crashed into a ditch Tuesday afternoon.
Lt. Jim Kulesa with the Lonoke County Sheriff's Office said a vehicle was submerged in water near Exit 25 of 67/167, which is near Ward. The car hit another vehicle before ending up in a body of water.
Austin Chief of Police John Staley said the woman driver may have had a medical episode while driving, as she had low blood sugar.
The driver was taken by helicopter to a local hospital and Staley said she was listed in good condition when she left.
