HONG KONG, China (CNN) - Hong Kong may just have the priciest parking spaces in the world.

Some of Hong Kong's hottest investment vehicles are where people keep their motorized ones - and that would be in parking lots. In fact, this city has the most expensive parking spaces in all of Asia.
As proof, someone offered to buy this space - not the car but the space - for $640,000!

The man who owns it, Tacinto Tong, is Chief Executive of a porperty firm that owns hundreds of residential and commerical lots across Hong Kong.

The space is so desired because it is only 20 steps from the building. But, Tong says he wont' sell it, even though he says he could bank $1.3 million in doing so.

Tong said in the urban jungle of skyscrapers,

You couldn't buy a better car park in a better building, dozens of parking spaces are valued at $250,000 each, which comes to about $2,000 per square foot.
