WASHINGTON (CBS) -- First lady Michelle Obama, her daughters, Sasha and Malia, and the first dog, Bo, received the official White House Christmas tree Friday in Washington.

This year's tree is from Peak Farms in Ashe County, North Carolina. It is a 19-foot Fraser fir that will be on display through the holiday season in the Blue Room.

Mrs. Obama and the girls welcomed the tree and its growers outside the White House. Farm owners Rusty and Beau Estes are this year's winners of the National Christmas Tree Association, which has provided the White House tree each year since 1966.
