GERMANTOWN, Tn. - An extreme couponer and her friend say they got more than they bargained for when they tried to cash in on some deals at the Dollar Tree in Germantown, Tennessee on Wednesday (11/21)--the incident was caught on tape.

A confrontation between a Dollar Tree manager and the extreme couponer turned violent. A customer was beaten and bruised. The store manager is now facing charges.

Extreme couponers Jennifer Hill and Melissa Monzo-Marte say the store manager refused to honor their coupons, despite a sign by the front door.

The resistance came as a shock to these two whom by the looks of their stockpiles one could call professional couponers. So Jennifer hit the record button on her iPhone.

As Jennier left, Melissa stayed behind, and as she was walking out the door, she says she was attacked.

Police identify the store manager as 32-year-old Shauna Shipman. She was charged with misdemeanor assault.
