JACKSONVILLE, Ark. - After being open for two decades, Costume Corner in Jacksonville closed its doors. Despite their efforts to sell off all their goods, many costumes, wigs and props remained. The owners auctioned off the rest of the merchandise Sunday afternoon.
From costumes to wigs even some of the clothing racks went home to bidders. Owner Angie Mitchell says today served as way for many other retailers to come in and buy items for a good price. Jacksonville residents and retailers met Sunday to buy some goods, on the cheap. Long time store, Costume Corner closed its doors a few weeks ago.
The auction had three parts; the first one, outside selling off racks and props. The second part being inside bidding off hats and wigs.
THV's Lauren Scott joined bidders in their hunt for good deals.
