NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A car hauler semi-truck and a train collided Monday afternoon near North Little Rock.
Lt. Carl Minden with the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office said the incident happened about 3 p.m. at Kelly Road near MacArthur Drive. This is near the Crystal Hill Road exit of Interstate 30.
The truck was carrying one car at the time. Its driver said the truck bottomed out at Kelly Rd. and MacArthur Dr.and got stuck. The driver went to get help, but a Union Pacific train came by and hit it before he could alert authorities.
No one was hurt in the collision, and emergency crews will spend hours cleaning up the area.
Oak Grove Fire Dept., Blue Hill Fire Dept., and PCSO are working together to clear the damage.
