'THV 11 News at Noon': Combating HIV in Arkansas

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Here in Arkansas, there were 8,100 cases of HIV diagnosed up to last year. And Several Arkansans are working to reduce those numbers.

    In honor of World Aids Day, the Arkansas Minority Health Commission is bringing a special Documentary to Arkansas to increase awareness of the soaring HIV rates in the South.

    Idonia Trotter, Executive Director of the Arkansas Minority Health Commission and Dr. Nate Smith, with the Arkansas Department of Health joined Ashley and Tom to talk more.
