LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Facebook opened the cyber polls Monday for a user vote that could end user-voting. Facebookers are also voting on the social media site's data usage policies and its statement of rights and responsibilities.

Facebookers have six days left to cast their vote. If less than 30 percent of all active users vote, then we can kiss voting goodbye. According to PC World, Facebook currently claims more than one billion active users. Therefore, at least 300 million users will have to participate.

Other issues users will have their say in are new data usage policies. These policies would allow the site to share user information with Facebook-owned companies like Instagram.

Here's the list of what else the data use policy entails:

Information FB receives and how it is used
    • Information FB receives about you
    • Public information
    • Usernames and User IDs
    • How FB uses the information we receive
    • Deleting and deactivating your account

Sharing and finding you on Facebook

Facebook VP of communications and public policy, Elliot Schrage, writes, "Our goal in modifying our site governance process is to make sure that we receive feedback from you in the best, most productive way possible so that we can be responsive to your input."
