Ross donates papers to Arkansas' Ouachita Baptist

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (AP) - Retiring U.S. Representative Mike Ross is donating his papers to Arkansas' Ouachita Baptist University.

The outgoing Democratic congressman says his papers will include material from his 12 years in the U.S. House of Representatives and from his 10 years in the state Senate.

Ross said Friday that more than 200 boxes of material and thousands of digital photos will end up at the Arkadelphia school.

Ross announced last year he wouldn't seek a seventh term representing south Arkansas' 4th District. Republican Tom Cotton won that congressional seat in the November election as the GOP swept the state's four U.S. House districts.
