NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The North Little Rock Police Department held its 14 annual Polar Plunge Friday and Saturday, December 7 and 8.

The Polar Plunge, Freezin' for a Reason, was started to raise money for the Special Olympics. This years Polar Plunge was located at Lakewood on lake #3.

THV's Ed Buckner even took the plunge himself. The Special Olympics of Arkansas depends on donations and sponsorships to provide year-round events to their athletes free of charge.
