BOULDER, Colo. (CBS) - Two University of Colorado students accused of providing marijuana-laced brownies to their professor and classmates have been arrested.
Students, 21-year-old Thomas Ricardo Cunningham and 19-year-old Mary Elizabeth Essa were arrested Saturday, December 8, and are facing suspicion of second-degree assault, consumption of controlled substances by fraudulent means, and two conspiracy count charges.
Police say the two brought the brownies to class as part of a "bring food day." The professor and two students were hospitalized and five others were sickened.
