LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Accused of killing a man and his two stepdaughters, a very quiet Riakos Lizana made his first court appearance Monday. He was not formally charged, but the judge did rule to hold him without bond while he's being investigated.

In an affidavit obtained from the courts, police said they received a 911 call from 40-year-old Bobby Galbraith's wife saying she had found her 6-year-old daughter dead and believed her 4-year-old daughter was missing. While she was on the phone with the 911 dispatcher she discovered the body of her husband in a separate room.

Now when police arrived, they searched the area and found her 4-year-old's body underneath her sister's bed.

Police said a bloody palm print recovered from the girl's bedroom matched that of Riakos Lizana. They arrested him Saturday evening on three counts of capital murder and one count of aggravated robbery.

Police have been tight lipped about how Galbraith and his two stepdaughters died, but a report by the medical examiner said quote "substantial injuries were suffered by the victims and would have resulted in extensive bleeding."

Tim Beckham was appointed as Lizana's public defender Monday. He said they have filed a motion to limit publicity, but the judge has yet to rule on that. Limited publicity is basically a gag order.

Beckham said their next court appearance will be Jan. 8 where Lizana will be arraigned and plead not guilty.

Lizana is accused of killing the three victims at their home in Arkadelphia on Thursday night. A donation fund has been set up to help Galbraith's surviving wife and daughter.
