NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - People in and around North Little Rock will likely hear unusual sounds in the area on Wednesday.
Soldiers from around the nation attended a training exercise, which used mortar live fire exercises as part of the program.
The Arkansas National Guard said artillery fire was heard outside of Camp Robinson, where the training took place.
The exercise was finished by 4 p.m.
