NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A settlement has been issued regarding a landslide that happened in early 2009.
The incident, which occurred behind several homes on Cedar Street in North Little Rock, caused the structures to be too dangerous to live in.
A lawsuit was filed against the city, which approved a settlement during a City Council meeting Monday night. City Attorney Jason Carter said the settlement includes $32,500 to be divided among three property owners.
Carter said the city is not responsible for the damage, but officials are ready to create a resolution to get the hillside area fixed.
