LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Tidwell Project, Inc. a non-profit organization that enables talented students to pursue their educational and personal growth goals, is hosting their tenth annual fundraiser.
The evening includes entertainment, food and an opportunity to be instrumental in providing support to the many talented young Arkansans who are pursuing their goals of higher education. This year's entertainment will be provided by Multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Eric Benet. As an artist who needs no introduction, Eric Benet has earned himself a spot in contemporary music history.
Also in concert are local band Kemistri with Nicky Parrish. The Tidwell Project dancers will also perform throughout the evening.
The Tidwell Project environment demonstrates the benefits of the performing arts in building self-esteem, self-respect and discipline. This organization is under the guidance of C. Michael Tidwell as the artistic director. Mr. Tidwell also teaches dance at Parkview Magnet High School.
The fundraiser is co-chaired by Dr. Alonzo and Susan Williams and Drs. Joe Hargrove and Frances Harris. Corporate sponsor gifts have enabled this annual fundraiser to provide scholarships to students to help achieve their educational and personal goals.
