LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - After a pursuit through Little Rock, a man is finally in police custody.
According to Sgt. Cassandra Davis, Willie Aikens, 42, was arrested and charged with the follow offenses: Aggravated Assault, Criminal Attempt, Possession of Marijuana with Purpose to Deliver, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Reckless Driving, Fleeing and Failure to Yield to Emergency Vehicle.
In the arrest report, arresting officers said they tried to approach Aiken's vehicle during a traffic stop, but Aikens tried to hit a DEA officer and fled the scene.
Davis said officers were able to seize approximately 24 pounds of marijuana from Aikens as a result of the arrest.
