LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The Tidwell Project is investing in the lives of young Arkansans and combining their efforts with the arts for a very noble cause.

Annette Fisher, NBA star Derek Fisher's mother, and Michelle Williamson, wife of former Razorback and current UCA basketball coach Corliss Williamson, came to THV 11 Studios to talk about the big fundraiser for scholarships happening this weekend called "Celebrate the Moments of the Season?"

The evening includes entertainment, food and an opportunity to be instrumental in providing support to the many talented young Arkansans who are pursuing their goals of higher education.

This year's entertainment will be provided by Multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Eric Benet, the Tidwell Project Dance Ensemble, and local band Kemistri with Nicky Parrish.

The event is Dec. 16 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at the Paebody Hotel. Tickets are $100. For further information, please contact Alicia Smith at (501) 664-0478 or 663-5516 or Connie Curry (501) 240-6387.

Tidwell Project, Inc. is a non-profit organization that enables talented students to pursue their educational and personal growth goals. The Tidwell Project environment demonstrates the benefits of the performing arts in building self-esteem, self-respect and discipline.
