LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - If you notice a strange looking tower standing near the next the big event you're at, it's a new way to make sure you'll be safe while you're out having fun.
Sgt. Cassandra Davis said the Little Rock Citizens Police Department recently purchased two SkyWatch buckets that will be used during major events involving crowd control.
Davis added that the buckets will be used during events such as the State Fair and Riverfest. They can either hold an officer or use wireless surveillance to keep watch over crowds.
She informed THV 11 News that the department paid $600 for the SkyWatch buckets from a Military Surplus in Savannah, Ga.
