FORT SMITH, Ark. (KTHV) - A funeral will be held on Wednesday for a Fort Smith college student who died after falling 100 feet from a bluff in Newton County.
Austin Elder, 19, was camping with a friend earlier this month when he slipped from a bluff.
Elder's family kept him on life support after being declared brain dead last Wednesday to allow his organs to be donated. He passed away this weekend, and now his organs will help up to eight people at a St. Louis hospital.
