SEARCY, Ark. (AP) - State police are investigating a crash in Searcy involving two troopers that totaled both of their patrol cars.

No one was hurt in the Monday night accident, which Searcy police say occurred when the troopers were driving to assist Searcy police, who were trying to find a man who'd been involved in a disturbance.

The Daily Citizen reports that the troopers were both headed west on Pleasure Street when one trooper slowed to make a turn and the other one turned into the path of the first cruiser.

State police Capt. Jeff Drew says the agency is investigating and hadn't drawn any conclusions yet.
