Storms across the state leave several without power.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Entergy Arkansas says power has been restored to thousands of customers who lost electricity in this week's storms and high winds.
The utility's website showed fewer than 1,000 Arkansas customers without power Saturday after a peak of nearly 43,000 homes and businesses were in the dark Thursday.
The utility says high winds blew over trees and knocked down limbs, leaving 150 utility poles broken.
The most intense damage was in central and southwest Arkansas, including areas in Little Rock, Hot Springs, El Dorado, Arkadelphia, Russellville, Magnolia, Malvern, Conway and Pine Bluff.
