SARDIS, ARK.; (KTHV)--A Sardis family thought hard times would lead to a slim Christmas, but Christmas is looking a little brighter thanks to a special motorcycle group rolled in. It's their mission to help a family in need each Christmas. This year the Holy Rollers motorcycle group shared the holiday spirit with the Rayburns, a mother and her two children.
Holy Rollers is a motorcycle group based out of Little Rock, earlier they brought out presents and food to Stacy Rayburn. Rayburn works at a restaurant, that's how one of the members discovered her and her family's need.
Each year the group makes it their mission to help a deserving family. "There's so much bad and evil going around the world there needs to be a good time this time of year, people need to forget about their worries," says Mark Balsam. Balsam is the chairman for the bikers. What makes this even more special, he says they operate solely on donations. Group leaders estimate they collected more than four hundred dollars to help the family. The group for Arkansas Fallen Riders also pitched in.
